The No Scrubs AI tutorial in one line: upload one clear photo to No Scrubs AI Dance, pick a look and a format, generate, then download and post the 15-second video. There is no prompt to write, no template to hunt for and nothing to edit, and the trend sound is already mixed in. Open the generator.
What are the four steps of the No Scrubs AI tutorial?
1. Pick a photo
Choose a sharp, evenly lit, front-facing photo of one adult who agreed to it, ideally yourself. Whatever you wear in the photo is what you wear in the video, so choose the outfit on purpose. Photos of celebrities, public figures, streamers and children are blocked.
2. Pick a look
There are 6 looks: your own clothes (Come As You Are), a black tee with baggy cargos, a pastel puffer, an 80s power dress, double denim, and Bring a Friend, which takes two photos so a friend dances beside you and does the finger wag. The look changes the outfit, not the routine.
3. Pick the model and the format
Choose a model tier and a format: 9:16 for TikTok, Reels and Shorts, 1:1 for a feed post, or 16:9 for wide. Standard at 720p costs 10 credits and is a good place to start; the higher tiers are on the pricing page. Tap generate and wait about four minutes at Standard.
4. Download and post
Download the MP4 within 24 hours, because the file is deleted after that. It is 15 seconds long, has no watermark and already carries the trend sound, so it is ready to upload.
How is this different from a CapCut template?
Most creators on TikTok use a CapCut template, and that is a fair way to join the trend. The two routes differ in a few practical ways.
| No Scrubs AI Dance | A CapCut template | |
|---|---|---|
| Where it runs | Your browser, nothing to install | Inside the CapCut app |
| Length | 15 seconds, every time | Varies by template; the most-shared one was 15 s |
| Sound | Trend sound already mixed in | Depends on the template |
| Watermark | None | Depends on the template and your plan |
| Cost | Credits per video, no free tier | Templates are free to use in the app |
| A second real person | Yes: the Bring a Friend look takes two photos | Depends on the template |
If a free template already gives you what you want, use it. No Scrubs AI Dance is for people who want the same clip in a browser, at a fixed length, with the sound included. More on the filter question.
What makes a good No Scrubs AI result?
- Use a full-length photo when you can. The outfit is copied from the photo, so a photo cut at the waist leaves the model to guess the trousers and shoes.
- Take off sunglasses and hats. The close-up at about three seconds is the shot people pause on, and it needs to see your face.
- Pick plain colours. Solid clothes read better on the white set than busy prints, which can shimmer in the fisheye shot.
- One person per photo. Group shots confuse who the lead is. For two stars, use Bring a Friend with one photo each.
- Expect some limits. The top-down fisheye shot bends faces at the edges, the two backup dancers are made up and change between renders, and hands and feet can blur in the quick trio shots.
How do I post it?
Upload the MP4 to TikTok, Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts as it is. The trend sound is already in the file, so you do not need to add it again. Use 9:16 for the three apps, and label the clip as AI-generated where the app asks for it. More detail is in how to post a No Scrubs AI video on TikTok and Reels. Independent fan-made tool.
